DHARMa for the Social Sciences
This website serves as a guide for using DHARMa randomized quantile residuals for regression models in the social sciences. The purpose of this website is the following:
- Explain what DHARMa residuals do using R code and intuitive explanations.
- Contextualize this for social scientists using real and simulated data.
- Provide a resource that can be cited for peer review.
- Offer a platform for social scientists to share their data to increase awareness of common model fitness problems.
Though one is free to navigate the website as they please, it is recommended to go through these pages in order, particularly the first page listed:
- Getting Started
- What is DHARMa?
- Simulated Data
- Real Data
This website was created by Dr. Shawn Hemelstrand at KIMEP University. It accompanies a pre-print that has been submitted for consideration at a scientific journal.
